Hotels normally want to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay at the establishment. Sometimes, this would involve giving notes, upgrading to a suite, and maybe sending a bottle of champagne or a bouquet of roses after learning that this was a special occasion. These gestures are surely appreciated.

However, it is pretty disappointing that they did not even bother to personalize the artwork in this room. This does not go well with the service they give! You can even see “your sample text here”!

We never would have assumed that hotels have a hard time struggling when it comes to choosing proper decorations and designs. It is hard to believe that someone out there was under the impression that this was a good piece of abstract art. What makes it even worse is the fact that it is above the toilet.

Perhaps this was a way to spark inspiration among the guests? We can only hope that this did not backfire on them. We hope no drunk guest ever starts painting using, um, unconventional materials.
