Buraq
In Islam, there was a legendary beast known as Buraq. The creature resembles a horse with a peacock tail and a human face. It was an unusual assemblage of various animals. We may be curious as to what kind of people created such a creature. Buraq was a creature that could lead prophets into Heaven if we knew enough about the faith.

Hippalectryon
Hippalectryon was a beast that looked like a cross between a rooster and a horse in Greek mythology. The Hippalectryon was such a strange creature that Aristophanes said it was “so comically hideous that it invited laughter from people around it, thereby driving evil away for good.” We were able to locate Aristophanes’ quote from The Frogs.
