Aqrabuamelu
In ancient Mesopotamia, the Aqrabuamelu was a terrifying creature who was mentioned in the Babylonian creation myth. The creature was a cross between a scorpion and a man. It had a scorpion-like body but still had a human face, head, and torso. Aqrabuamelu had a hideous appearance, but they were made to confront the Gods. According to legend, Aqrabuamelu served as a guardian to alert travelers.

Fauns
Goat men were another name for fauns. From Greek Satyr to Roman Mythology, we will find fauns. Satyrs were created by the god Pan and had a goat’s leg and tail and a human upper body. Some of them had a horn and a pointy ore, as depicted in an example. The creature was tasked with providing advice to the traveling travelers.
