They still had some 30 minutes of travel to do when Cliff took over the wheel. He saw that an adjustment in their course was needed in order for them to arrive at their destination sooner. After all, they didn’t know how long the fox could hold on, so the sooner they could seek medical attention for it, the better.

Suddenly, the boat hit a wave and the fox woke up in alarm. It was obviously terrified and tired. They all decided to give it some of their catch to try to calm it. They were hoping that the animal would take the food that they would offer to help it regain some strength.
