Once more, Adam looked through the entirety of the trailer for any indication that there might be a secret compartment or safe. He tapped and pressed on different areas of the walls, the floors, and the ceiling in an effort to find any irregularities. He examined every inch of the ceiling, the floors, and the walls. When he was on the verge of giving up, he discovered a floorboard that was loose near the back of the trailer.

He took the key with him and used it to pry open the floorboard, where he discovered a secret compartment underneath. There was a small notebook to be found inside. Adam nervously picked up the notebook and began to leaf through the pages as his hands shook. When he discovered that it wasn’t just a notebook, but rather his father’s journal, he was astounded.
