Alright, so this applies to all novelty clocks and not just cat clocks. Still, cat clocks are the most famous ones. They look creepy and very outdated. If you don’t want a house that looks like it came out of a ’60s horror movie, ditch those clocks.

Wood Paneling
While this might have been all the range in the ’60s and ’70s, wood paneling is just an eyesore now. It’s recommended to paint over cheap, fake wood paneling. However, if you’re lucky enough to have nice, real wood, then it’s somewhat more acceptible. In short, avoid the wood if you don’t want a ’70s vibe in the house.
