The foyer is a room of its own and should be treated as one. This is the first impression guests get upon entering your home. It doesn’t have to be something grand, but it should make a statement. Hang a chic light fixture and a few photographs; add a bench and a mirror. Things are looking better already!

Dining room chairs are for sitting….and should, therefore, be comfortable. None of your furniture should be uncomfortable, but this one is especially important. Before purchasing a chair, sit in it, if it’s not comfortable, don’t buy it.
