Facing Homelessness
Despite the fact that Nadya had a negative relationship with her landlord, Child Protective Services did not have any concerns about the house. Since she had broken a lease commitment, in his opinion, she had earned being kicked out of her home and should have been evicted. Because her children faced the possibility of being evicted from their home, she needed to take prompt action.
Her immediate priority was to protect her family from eviction. The sooner she took action, the more chance they had of keeping their house and avoiding homelessness.
Finding Alternatives
Despite the fact that Nadya’s relations with the landlord were not the greatest they could have been, Child Protective Services had no complaints with the property. He reasoned that because she had violated one of the lease agreement’s criteria, she should be evicted from the flat she was renting because she deserved to be tossed out. She and her children were on the verge of losing their home, and she needed to act swiftly to prevent this from happening.
