New Eggs
Do you know how bees lay eggs? The larvae are kept inside of the honeycomb, where they grow into big adult bees with the nutrients provided by the pollen and honey around them. The worker bees do everything for the eggs, and the queen bee supervises. Even though things seemed to be going smoothly, David was still worried for something bad to happen.
Not Quitting
David got concerned about the bees for a short while because he noticed they hadn’t been working much on the hive lately, but he then saw them start to work again and was relieved. He couldn’t believe how amazing these bees were! They survived living inside of a wall and still didn’t give up their hope, and then were able to completely adjust to a brand new environment almost immediately. David thinks the hive was in the walls for about two years. The homeowners didn’t notice at first until more and more bees started living there. The story doesn’t end here, though…
