Brass To The Grass
Only soldiers are familiar with the term “brass to the grass”. People who have not served in the military probably won’t know what it means. Soldiers will most likely use it even after they leave the service.
Gig Line
Soldiers are big on perfection, so the “gig line” existing in their daily lives makes sense. The “gig line” is the alignment of the uniform trouser fly-seam, the belt buckle, and the uniform shirt’s seam. All of these items should be in a line that is perfectly straight.
