Nadya’s major life transformation began in 2013, and she readily admitted that having so many children without giving it much thought was “foolish, immature, and selfish.” What’s more, she confessed that while she did not consider the possible consequences of her choices back then, she also has no regrets. Nadya maintains her focus on raising her children with this confession, as they are her top priority. In addition, she has effectively put her love life on hold, claiming that her celibate life is sufficient for her at this time. Her social media pages essentially show her current life and what her family is up to, as well as some great lessons and values that she instills in her fourteen children.

Raising fourteen children is no easy task, but Nadya appears to be succeeding admirably. She and her children currently rent a two-bedroom apartment, and their family survives on food stamps and paycheck to paycheck. According to the Daily Mail, Nadya says she’s now “at peace” after the challenges of raising so many children on her own, in part because her story continues to inspire and encourage women to make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Nadya doesn’t even like the name “Octomom” anymore, and she explained, “I didn’t want to live. I felt less than human as that character I was pretending to be, to survive and provide for my family.”
