Problems At Home
During Nadya’s time in the spotlight, there were rumors that she mistreated her children. It’s easy to see how such rumors arose, given how difficult it is to be a single mother, let alone one with fourteen children. It will take a lot of effort to fully address the children’s needs. Child Protective Services investigated the matter to see if the rumors were true. Still, when they went to Nadya’s house to conduct the investigation, they found no signs of negligence and found the rumors to be false, even declaring her home to be suitable for children.
Forced to Move Out
Although Child Protective Services declared the Suleman home suitable for children, someone who could have a significant impact on Nadya’s life – her landlord – completely disagreed. He claimed that Nadya had broken the lease’s terms and that he had even informed the media about her situation before evicting her and her entire family. Nadya simply wanted to be the kind of mother who cared for her children, but they were on the verge of losing their home, forcing her to take desperate measures.
