YouTuber
Because Nadya is not a full-time counselor, she decided to start her own YouTube channel to reach out to more people and inspire them. The first video she shared was a six-minute clip of her daughter Amerah reading a letter she wrote for her mother for Mother’s Day, followed by Nadya’s other children giving her gifts. The video was shot at a Long Beach, California women’s event. Nadya has been through a lot, which inspired her to start her own YouTube channel and tell her story. Her kids also help her manage the channel and post videos of vegan food challenges, grocery shopping, fun activities, and other creative ideas that they come up with.
Thanksgiving
Nadya encourages her children to stay involved and make a difference even on special occasions like Thanksgiving, so ten of her children participated in the Turkey Trot, a 5-kilometer family run. Their team spirit is evident in their matching t-shirts. On Thanksgiving, Nadya has a lot to be thankful for, including her children Noah, Josiah, Isaiah, and Maliyah winning the race. They were given pumpkin pies as a prize, and we’re guessing they ate those instead of turkey for Thanksgiving because most of Nadya’s kids are vegan.
