In the 1970s, Bill Walton made a name for himself with the UCLA Bruins. After all, he did win two national titles with them back then! He then went on to play for the Portland Trailblazers in the NBA. He won two championships and was awarded MVP while playing for Portland. After overcoming his stammer, he retired in 1987. This helped him establish a successful NBA analyst career with ABC/ESPN, CBS, NBC, and the Los Angeles Clippers. He took a sabbatical but has just returned to full-time employment.
