Lily, who was suffering a twinge of regret, came to the realization that she should not have been afraid to bring the injured kitten in a day later, as the frightened woman had recommended she do. Once fragile and vulnerable, the animals are now powerful and full of life, ready to find forever homes. The vet excitedly said that they were preparing to send the animals to a shelter where they might be adopted by loving families.
