Currently, Timer is taking up her Ph.D. at Central Michigan University. Aside from taking up Ph.D., she is also working as an on-air meteorologist for Fox News. She has been with the company since 2010. She also used to work for a local college in Pennsylvania, where she would report weather forecasts in English and Spanish; this was before she worked for Fox News.
