Reba McEntire’s father had a stroke and fell into a coma while the country musician was about to be inaugurated in the Country Music Hall of Fame. There was no doubt that Reba McEntire was grieving when he died last October 23, 2014. It was fortunate that Dolly Parton inducted Reba into the Country Music Hall of Fame in place of the heartbroken country musician.

Reba McEntire made a music video in remembrance of her deceased father. She titled it Just Like Them Horses, and it was filmed on their family property in Chockie, Oklahoma. Reba mentioned that her father was her biggest fan and later recalled, “He ran to heaven. Just like them, horses.”
