Faith Hill once auditioned as the backup singer of Reba McEntire during the tours before marking her name as a country artist. It was unfortunate that she had been rejected for the part. The position went to Paula Kay Evans, who died in the plane crash last 1991.

There was one time when Larry King had interviewed Faith Hill. Faith confessed that she was not offered the part because she was not yet good enough at that time. It was a little unsettling to think that she might not be in her position if she had been qualified for the part back then. We were still grieving for the people who lost their lives, but we’re still happy that Faith was still around.
