41. Unstuck A Lock
Usually, when we try to put a key in a lock, and it doesn’t work, we call a locksmith, right? A pencil is a perfect way to ensure that a key is adequately slick for the lock. Sticking a sharp pencil into the lock is all you need to do to make sure the inside is coated in pencil lead. This will serve as a way in which the key will slip in. This little trick will presumably save hundreds of dollars during an unnecessary emergency call.
42. Fix Wood Dents With A Boiling Household Iron
For all homeowners, denting wooden furniture causes a small bit of sorrow, as you invest so much effort into the décor and select the right item. However, this is a simple and secure trick to remove small scratches from both hardwood floors and wooden furniture. Simply wet the dent with a little water and then cover it with a damp rag. In circular motions, run your regular iron over the towel, and this should repair the dent.
