In fact, due to modern technology as well as merchant shipping that is constructed to a much higher standard than it used to be, shipping disasters are much rarer in modern times. That takes us back to Kim McDaniel, a Muskegon resident. It’s past time for us to learn more about what she saw just off the coast near her home on Thanksgiving. She had gone for a walk the day before to check on the damage caused by a huge storm when she noticed a strange apparition in the water, as we’ve seen.
