Sandra has been quite picky about who she discusses her personal life with. She did, however, recently come on Hoda Kotb’s Today show to discuss her role as a mother, her regrets about not having her own mother around to share her journey, and the various decisions she has made about how she raises her children. Hoda Kotb questioned Sandra about her regrets over not having her own mother with her on her journey.

She went on to claim that adoption has transformed her life and that her children are her first concern. While the future is uncertain, and Bullock has made no mention of adopting another kid, anything is possible.

The Pain of Not Having Her Mother Around

Unfortunately, Bullock’s mother died in the year 2000, and it wasn’t until Sandra became a mother herself that she discovered what she had been missing all along. Sandra’s mother had died while Sandra was a child. It is normal for a daughter to have a stronger bond with her mother with the birth of her own children, as well as the joy of being able to share the experience of motherhood with her own mother.
