Diversity Is Key
It is never simple or straightforward to bring up children who are of a different racial background. But Sandra has made advantage of this opportunity to educate Louis and Laila on the significance of ensuring that the color of their skin does not influence how they feel about themselves in life. She made the decision to adopt two black children, much like she did in the movie “The Blind Side,” in which she adopted a black child.

She’s teaching kids that family goes beyond blood and skin color. Sandra has a lovely family with her adopted children and photographer boyfriend. Diversity is important. They rarely leave the house and spend time together as a family.
Pearls of Wisdom
When Louis was just six years old, his mother sat him down and talked to him about the uncomfortable truths of racial profiling in the United States. This is just one of the many talks she has had with her children, and she strives very hard to give her family with an atmosphere that is as close to typical as she can make it so that her children can have the best possible experience growing up in it.
