It was decided to take Bullock off the road temporarily during her promotional tour for “The Blind Side” in Europe so that she could spend more time with her family at home. On the other hand, unfavorable stories started to spread, and people started coming forward to claim that they had an affair with Jesse James. These ladies asserted that Jesse James was their boyfriend or husband.

James publicly apologized to his wife once the media picked up the news. Despite never denying adultery accusations, he enrolled into a clinic to “work on himself” to be a better husband to Bullock and father to Louis.

It was too much for Bullock to bear, what with the storm in the media, the agony, and the heartache of being cheated on. She was unable to take it anymore. The actress submitted a petition for divorce from her husband James in April of 2010, despite the fact that her spouse has been romantically linked to a number of other women, including Kat Von D.
