How pretty is this? Sadly, it is also very dangerous. The road boasts of a very steep drop off that would deliver you right into the sea. It only has two lanes, so it is impossible to bypass a slowpoke driver.

When the sun has gone down, it is illegal for anyone to drive on Karnali Highway. A lot of people take Jeeps when they have to drive on this road. Why? There are lots of unmaintained parts and falling rocks.
