Prior to Magnum P.I actually ended its run, Selleck did appear in the comedy Three Men and a Baby with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg. Selleck thanked Magnum for how well his professional life went, but the film only added to his prominence. It made him even more popular than he ever was as the movie had become the greatest box office success that year!

Jimmy Fallon – The Ghost
Selleck was invited to the show of Jimmy Fallon. He appeared as his guest and he was questioned by Jimmy about the controversial story of the house where they shot the movie Three Men and a Baby. Jimmy mentioned that there was a boy who died inside the house. Selleck then replied, exposing that the movie was actually shot in a set made by the staff, “Well, we shot it on a sound stage, They built the set and all.”
