It’s important to nurture your marriage. I think wanting time away from work has been good for that,” he said. There was a time when Tom Selleck wanted to leave the TV series Magnum P.I and he talked about it in an interview with Closer Weekly. He was very open about the reason as to why he wanted to leave the show. He said, “Magnum, P.I. went to 163 shows and we still had ground to cover, and I wasn’t tired of it. I was tired from it because I was in every shot.” On the other hand, Blue Bloods was not very demanding of his appearance as not every scene required his participation.
