The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), Blount County Fire Department, Blount County Search and Rescue Tea, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Blount County Chief Deputy Jeff French, and Blount County Sheriff’s Department all conducted their own grid searches to look for Kaydon on the ground.

A Community Comes Together
When word of his disappearance spread, members of the local community stepped up to help. Blount County Emergency Services issued an Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) message to let everyone know what was going on in a matter of hours.
