Terry Crews – Football
Terry Crews rose to notoriety in football before making his TV debut. He played defensive end and linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins in the National Football League. He began in 1991 and worked there until 1997, when he chose to pursue acting. It was a wise decision, since he went on to star in “Everybody Hates Chris” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” He also appeared on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and “America’s Got Talent.” Crews told ReelTalks that the structure and standards of football are similar to those of acting, which aided his early adjustment.
