Josh Duhamel – Football
Josh Duhamel started out as a model, but it appears that he found greater success as an actor. He was on the hit television shows “All My Children” and “Las Vegas.” Later in his career, he rose to prominence on the big screen, most known for his roles in the “Transformers” film trilogy, “Life as We Know It” and “Love, Simon.” Duhamel grew up in poverty and attended Minot State University in North Dakota, where he was the backup quarterback for the football team. His two seasons were completed at a 50% rate. After college, he worked as a model until he was approached about acting roles; the rest is history.
Steve Carell – Ice Hockey
Fans of Steve Carell are well aware that he is a major hockey lover, but he used to be an ice hockey player. At high school, he participated in ice hockey and lacrosse. He was a member of Burpee’s Seedy Theatrical Company as well as Denison University’s Big Red hockey team. Carell told ESPN that he needed to determine whether he wanted to pursue a serious career in the sport or just do it for fun. While he aspired to be a professional hockey player, fate had other plans. He is most recognized for his role in “The Office,” for which he was named “America’s Funniest Man.”
