It was in December 2015 that the two couples gathered for dinner. There was no doubt that it was a stressful period for Kevin and Nicole. This is why Shawn and Lianna wanted to help improve their spirits without sticking their nose into the situation. However, the topic was hard to avoid, and they were soon engaged in a conversation about children. They noticed that Nicole was upset about not having a child, and Lianna decided to offer her help.

After hearing what Nicole had to say about her childbearing problems, Lianna told her something she did not expect. This was how Kevin recounted what went down at the dinner table: “Lianna goes, ‘You know I have five children, Shawn and I want to have maybe one or two more.'” “And [Nicole and I] looked at each other with a puzzled look, like, ‘You have five kids, why would you want any more?’” Her response to the question made everyone emotional.
