He was born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma but after graduating high school at 17, he decided to move to Nashville, Tennesse to pursue his country music career. Shelton still owns a property in Oklahoma and even owns a bar back in his home state.

For many people, when they think of Vermont, the first thing that comes to mind is Ben and Jerry’s maple syrup and Bernie Sanders. It’s not too often that people associate New Girl star, Damon Wayans Jr with The Green Mountain State. The American actor and comedian recently landed a major role in the film, Let’s Be Cops, but has been racking up numerous TV and big-screen roles since 1994.
