Protecting Guitar Strings
WD-40 can be used to clean guitar strings, though it also offers additional protection from damage! Here is what you need to know before anything else: spray WD-40 onto a cloth and wipe the strings by placing your thumb on one side and the rest of your fingers on the other side. Simply keep doing this in a sliding motion until you have everything covered.
Preventing Splinters
Not unlike varnish, WD-40 will help keep your brooms, mops, rakes, and other utensils strong and free from annoying splinters. As soon as you notice that these objects look a bit weary, just spray WD-40 and rub them to extend the longevity of your wooden tools!
