Native to Armenia, Araksya grew up in Palos Verdes, California. Her degree in Broadcast Journalism at Syracuse University and International Relations helped shape her career today. You will be able to watch Araksya Karapetyan on KTTV in Los Angeles. Her career started from the humble beginnings of doing an internship for KFI 640 AM radio and KABC-TV in Burbank, California. She’s being seen in the morning news and the Good Day LA. She has also recorded for stations in Oregon and Idaho. She did reporting for stations in Oregon and Idaho as well.

Since graduating, she worked in El Paso, Texas, for KVIA. Indra Petersons are not only excellent in reporting; she has been an overachiever even before she started working. She went to Arizona University and graduated with a degree in Atmospheric Physics. Not only that, but she also minored in Physics, Business, and Mathematics.
