Mike Pence (Vice President) — $230,700
Like former Vice President Joe Biden, Mike Pence makes $230,700 a year. That number has been constant since 2010. In 2019, Pence was eligible for a modest boost that would give him $243,500 a year but the increase was suspended as a result of the economic shutdown at the time. The veep, however, made a joke about being thrifty, despite his decent paycheck, claiming that he purchased two for one suit.
Mick Mulvaney (Acting Chief Of Staff) — $203,500
Another difficult work with a nice salary is to be the Chief of Staff of the President. There are actually very few White House workers who are paying more than $200,000 per year and Mick Mulvaney is one of them. Like Grisham, who served as press secretary, Mulvaney has been the third chief of staff since Trump became president, taking office in early 2019. There were five separate individuals in the Obama White House who held the position in eight years, with Denis McDonough earning $176,461 in 2016.
