Mason walks out of the office, utterly depressed. With everything he had, he wanted to see the mother and her son again, but faith had other plans. He can’t get away from the thought of what the woman and her son must be thinking about him right now. Would they be relieved or disappointed?

Mason would not return to his room. He needed some fresh air, especially after hearing such heartbreaking news. He gets outdoors, turns right (where he typically turns left to go to the park), and begins walking. But, he was about to make a life-altering decision.
