It appeared that other animals were aware that the fox was dying, so they made a choice quickly. They made up their minds to rescue it and help it live a little bit longer. The crew decided to put their fishing on hold until they have a better idea about the whole situation. With their minds made up, they went on to do it even though it was dangerous for them as well.
