Ricky was heartbroken, of course. He was already thinking very cautiously about continuing after the initial surprise, now that he found out his wife had been disloyal. He could not really believe that, for much too long, she had managed to keep the reality of the situation from him. He came to know in the end that he could not really handle being around her anymore.

“I want a divorce,” wrote Ricky. Katy began to feel her heart crumble in two as quickly as she read that line. She fell to the ground, clutching her phone, realizing that all she had to blame was herself. And therefore, Ricky had been fast with his decisions, even after a global disease outbreak, and Katy did receive the divorce papers the preceding week.
