Nazty Spy
Perhaps the greatest compliment that can be paid to the Stooges’ legacy is the fact that Adolf Hitler was their adversary. Indeed, you can. In 1940, the Three Stooges starred in the short film You Nasty Spy!, which mocked the Nazi dictator in an overt manner. Because the short enraged Hitler to such a degree, he included them as “favored casualties” on his own personal “death list.”

Curly’s Hair
Some folks would be surprised to find that Curly Howard had a fantastic head of hair prior to joining The Three Stooges. Unfortunately, Ted Healy, the driving force behind the band’s success, didn’t find Howard to be amusing enough because of his excessive head of hair. After learning of this evaluation, Curly went to the back and had his head shaved in preparation for the role. He obviously wanted the part very much!
