Time flies, and it’s sometimes difficult to carve out time to spend with the people we care about. For the Brown sisters, however, this is not the case. In 1975, Bebe Nixon’s husband, Nicholas Nixon, took a photo of the siblings. It became a ritual after that, as they posed for one every year for the next four decades! Take a look at this lovely collection of photos to see how much they’ve been through. Nothing compares to the bond that you share with your siblings. These images are sufficient proof of that.

In 1975, the project began. In the captions of every single photo that falls under it, you’ll find the date and location. Laurie, Bebe, Mimi, and Heather are pictured from right to left in this photo. Their ages ranged from fifteen to twenty-five at the time. Nixon, on the other hand, can be seen in the other photos. This was captured in later photographs.
