In 1959, she became Lucille Ball’s protégé and went on to star in Broadway musicals like 42nd Street and Hello, Dolly! She hasn’t done much in the theater since 2006, but she did play Erika Ericson in the film Waiting in the Wings: Still Waiting and Pearl Goodfish in the television show Break a Hip in 2018.
