According to a 2017 study of virgin olive oil and its impact on Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive performance was greatly influenced. In addition to this exciting finding, researchers commented that more nerve cells in the brain started to appear. This was only the beginning as they believe that virgin olive oil can potentially prevent as well as reverse the effects of dementia.
