Though the Amish appear similar, and follow fundamental core values; there are actually four main groups: the Old Order, the New Order, the Beachy Amish and Amish Mennonites. These groups also have their own subgroups, and they all have different rules. For example, the Beachy Amish sometimes allow electricity to use, whereas the Old Order and New Order do not.

Vacations
Surprisingly the Amish do indeed go on vacation. This does not necessarily fare true for all Amish communities, but can be seen in those such as the Mennonite communities. Many have been seen in Pinecraft, Florida during the winter, in attempt to avoid the harsh winter in their community. It is still easy to stay true to their values, even when vacationing.
