A Computer For The Amish
There was, believe it or not, a computer built specifically for Amish communities. Internet access and video and music playback aren’t available on the Deskmate word processor. The computer can handle basic word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting. The Deskmate would not violate any long-standing Amish traditions since some (but not all) Amish use equipment that can only be used for industry.
