Lowers Heartburn Symptoms
Thanks to the high acidity, apple cider vinegar is useful for heartburn and acid reflux. By increasing stomach acid, it prevents back-flow into the esophagus. ACV also reduces flatulence, usually brought on by spicy foods. A glass of water mixed with a few tbsp of ACV before a meal will make sufferers enjoy food again!
Soothes Sunburns
We think it’s safe to say that no one enjoys sunburns. If you unfortunately get one this summer, soak in a bath filled with apple cider vinegar. Make the water a cool temperature, add a cup of ACV, 1/14 cup of coconut oil and a few drops of essential oil. If you don’t have a tub at home, you can also make a 1:1 solution of ACV and water, spraying or dabbing it onto your sunburn. While it may not smell too good, it’ll make you feel better in seconds.
