1910 E98 Ty Cobb
While we are already on the topic of Ty Cobb we can talk about that he is one of the most talented athletes of the early twentieth century. He was an outstanding hitter and an amazing base stealer. He was incredibly dominated within the Deadball Era. There was quite a bit of controversy over him throughout his career. This card, particularly in good condition will sell for a high amount. In 2019, it went for about $270,600.
1909 T206 Christy Mathewson
Mathewson has always been a respected player and his unique pitch. He was one of the original Hall of Fame members and on his plaque, it says, “Matty was master of them all.” This is quite an honor. Back in September of 2018, a grade 9 card went for $264,000.
