1939 Play Ball Ted Williams
There are quite a lot of Williams to pick, but usually, people go for well-known ones. However, this is his rookie card. The card was produced in the ’30s and is not so hard to find. In November 2016, A PSA 9 card was auctioned for $239,000.

1933 Goudey Napoleon Lajoie
This Lajoie is one of the rarer ones. There are only around 100 in existence because it was not actually in the first produced set. At the time, collectors were required to get the card from the manufacturer itself to finish their set. Cards were sent out with a paper clip attached, leaving a mark on the card. In 2016, a grade 9 Goudey Lajoie sold for $228,000 in November 2016.
