The longer Eric spent in Conor’s company, the more comfortable he became, and the more convinced he became that Conor felt the same way about him. Arrangements were made for him to pay Lori a visit in New York City, where she and her new partner had explored the prospect of owning an apartment in the city. In one evening, he picked up Conor and drove him to the circus by himself, which he found to be a great experience. Although he was both scared and thrilled about going on the night out, he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Conor’s favorite animals were elephants, and he couldn’t keep his mouth shut while he was talking about them. It was the first time in Clapton’s life that he felt like he genuinely understood the concept of fatherhood. He was ready to take the initiative. He was prepared to take the initiative.

A Tragic Morning
Eric’s life was tragically cut short just as he was ready to get into the swing of parenting. In exchange for Eric picking them up and taking them to the zoo for lunch, Lori and Conor had agreed to be picked up by him. The phone rang at 11 a.m., which was a rather early hour in the morning for a Saturday. Lori answered the phone, her voice filled with emotions as she announced that Conor had passed away. Lori informed Eric that Conor had perished as a result of a fall from a second-story window. Eric stayed immobile for a brief period of time. He was the very first person to come.
