Sharon Tate
There is nothing short of tragic in the fact that Sharon Tate will always be associated with the senseless Manson murders. She had always been a beautiful girl. She entered the film industry and became a favorite for comedy and drama roles. The actress later married director Roman Polanski in 1968, and she was expecting a child with him at the time of her death.
Ingrid Bergman
If you have ever watched Casablanca before, you probably adore Ingrid Bergman. The actress had been acting in Swedish and German films before this, although the film launched her into international superstardom. As a matter of fact, she is “arguably the most international star in the history of entertainment”, according to a biographer. Anatole Livak also said of her: “through all her troubles she held to the conviction that she had been true to herself and it made her quite a person.”
