The wedding cake for Prince William and Kate was designed by Fiona Cairns and featured an incredible eight tiers. For a total of $160,000, the couple chose fruitcake as their cake flavor and had a chocolate cake made for guests who didn’t like fruitcake. Prince Harry and Meghan chose a lemon sponge cake with elderflower syrup and Amalfi lemon curd for their wedding cake. Claire Ptak is said to have spent $60,000 to $75,000 on the cake.
