A Tiny Farmhouse
In 2012, they bought a little farmhouse for themselves. It was nothing more than a two-bedroom home that had an attic. It was simply too small of a place for the six members of their family. However, they were not all that concerned about its size.

What they fixated more on had been the land the farmhouse had been resting on. It came with amazing oak trees that surrounded the home and made the property all the more irresistible. Joanna and Chip knew they needed to get some work done on the farmhouse, but how could they possibly turn such a small space into something that could accommodate all six family members?
Committing To The Project
The couple did not know this project was going to take them 18 long months. Aside from the big project, Chip and Joanna also had to split their time to work on other renovation projects as well.

The husband and wife made a lot of interesting discoveries when they were renovating the home. They found paperwork all the way from 1895! It was hard to say how old the farmhouse was. However, she fell in love with the idea that the house boasted of a story as well.
